Join Derwent Scottish Pipe Band on the first Saturday of each month at Salamanca Market, one of Tasmania’s most popular attractions. Performing throughout the market precinct, the band presents a lively mix of traditional Scottish music, crowd favourites and contemporary pipe band repertoire. Whether you’re visiting Hobart or a regular market-goer, keep an ear out for the unmistakable sound of the pipes and drums.
As a community-based organisation, the band also welcomes donations during its performances. Contributions may be made in person or online, with funds supporting uniforms, instruments, tuition, membership development and the ongoing operation of the band.
